We're looking for passionate English language tutors who teach in German to join our team at Vokabl. You'll deliver structured 1-on-1 and group English lessons to German-speaking learners at various proficiency levels.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured 1-on-1 and group English lessons via Zoom following Vokabl's curriculum.
- Prepare lesson materials tailored to each student's level and goals.
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Maintain a consistent schedule and communicate availability through the platform.
- Participate in onboarding, training, and quality reviews.
Requirements
- Native or near-native English proficiency (C2 level minimum).
- Fluent in German (B2+ level) for instruction and communication.
- Teaching certification (TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent) preferred.
- 1+ years of experience teaching English as a foreign language.
- Reliable internet connection, webcam, and a quiet teaching environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with online teaching platforms.
- Familiarity with CEFR levels and structured language curricula.
- Experience preparing students for international English exams (IELTS, TOEFL).
